Am I level? Not really.
Have I ever been truly level? Only to my friends
Honest, always.
But to others, it comes and goes.
I tilt, I tilt the truth, I become unlevel
watch the bubble slide, right or left.
I am levelheaded in most cases,
but then, suddenly,
at the drop of a hat,
I’m not.
I am a marble on a floor, not level
Seeking the lowest point.
